Cystic Fibrosis: Condition and Management

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is an inherited disorder that can cause severe damage to the lungs, digestive system and other organs in the body. No cure for cystic fibrosis is available; but advances in treatment (focus on airway clearance, medicines for the faulty CFTR protein) manage CF to prevent complications and surgery.
